The significant role of Indian Embassy in the development
of Nepalganj
The co-operation of Indian Embassy for development of Nepalganj in various
sectors is, in fact, signifacant and valuable. Indian Embassy has significantly
donated for Nepalganj in education, health and infrastructure.
His Excellency Mr. Shiv Shankar Mukharjee, the Ambassador of India for
Nepal, has laid foundation and innagurated the extension building in Mahendra
Library, the oldest library in Nepalganj last year.
Recently His Excellency Mr. Rakesh Sood innaugrated newly constructed
building donated by Indian Embassy.
- Indian Embassy has donated for new building and complete school premises
of 'Pashupati Shiksha Mandir'. The building has been ready and school
is operating classes in this new building. Then Ambassador of India
to Nepal, His Excellency Mr. Shiv Shankar Mukherjee declared this in
Pashupati Shiksha Mandir school. Ms. Kheya Bhattacharya, The Economic
Minister of Indian Embassy for Nepal, laid foundation of this building
later. The construction of building is presently going on.
- Indian Embassy has also donated a school bus for to Pashupati Shiksha
MAndir. Pashupati Shiksha Mandir is known for its education with high
moral values and is being operated by a trust on non-profit basis.
- 'Dhamboji High School, one of the oldest High school in nepalganj,
which was neglected since years, was again flourished as Indian embassy
has gifted a completely new school premises with new building structures
presently under construction under full swing. His Excellency Mr. Rakesh
Sood was seen annoyed observing the slow construction of building of
this school as well as of the Mahendra Campus Hostel building during
his visit at Nepalganj in April 2009.
- Ms. Kheya Bhattacharya, The Economic Minister of Indian Embassy for
Nepal, layed the foundation of 'Bheri Vridh Asharam's' new building
having seven rooms. Indian embassy has donated more than twenty five
lakh rupees for this building of 'Bheri Vridh Ashram' (Home for senior
citizens with no family support)
- Except this, on the same day, Ms. Kheya Bhattacharya also layed foundation
of girls' hostel building in Mahendra Multiple Campus. Indian Embassy
has also donated for construction of this building in Nepalganj.
- And a mobile medical vehicle having modern eye equipments was donated
to Fateh Bal Eye hospital, Nepalganj by His Excellency Mr. Shiv Shankar
Mukherjee.
